Vanessa currently works for a founder-led B Corp, The Estate Dairy, its headquarters just 30 minutes outside Crewe. As “Projects and Business Services Manager” she operates across a number of areas including HR, Premises, Health & Safety, B Corp Accreditation and Capital Projects – helping scale the team and the infrastructure as the business grows.
Prior to this she gained 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, finding her niche in start-ups, and notably establishing “Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity” with Andy Burnham as Patron during the pandemic. Until summer 2025, Vanessa headed up “Live Projects” for the National Charity “OnSide”, steering a portfolio of new Youth Zone projects through their founding years and into construction. In this capacity she became one of the founding Trustees of The Dome.
Vanessa has two children of high school age, remains committed to making a positive difference wherever she can and is particularly passionate about the engagement of women and girls in youth activity.
