the difference it will make
At The Dome, we’re on a mission: life-changing youth work and incredible opportunities for every young person in Crewe and the surrounding areas.
Our Youth Zone and the brilliant team behind it, is here to help young people live happy, aspirational lives. It’s a place to feel safe being exactly who they are, build confidence and dream bigger than they thought possible.
A workout. A kickabout. A mock interview. A jamming session with mates. However they show up, every moment at The Dome helps young people build resilience, solve problems and find the confidence to go after what they want. It’s where friendships form, self-worth grows and everyone feels part of something bigger than themselves.
We’re here to do more than just run activities. With the support of our dedicated youth workers and volunteers, young people will find guidance, encouragement and the confidence to dream big. You’ll find incredible spaces like a climbing wall, sports hall, recording studio, training kitchen, a 3G pitch and much more, all just a short walk from Crewe’s town centre.
We know these journeys take time, and that’s exactly as it should be. We’re in it for the long haul, ready to back Crewe’s young people every step of the way.
Just like other Youth Zones in OnSide’s Network, we’re an independent charity, backed by an experienced board. We’re inviting local businesses and philanthropists to join our Founder Patron campaign and help change the lives of young people across Crewe.
This is where it starts.
the whole community
The Dome Youth Zone isn’t just being built for Crewe’s young people, it’s being built with the community, by the community.
We’re working side-by-side with Cheshire East Council and an incredible network of local businesses to bring this game-changing space to life and we’re only just getting started.
This is your chance to jump in and help shape something truly special.
Three ways to get involved:
- Volunteer – Share your time, skills and energy to inspire young people and help them thrive.
- Work with us – Build a career that makes a real difference, every single day.
- Partner with us – Collaborate with us and invest in the next generation, creating lasting change for Crewe.
Over the coming months, we are preparing for our November 2026 opening by sharing the latest news, sparking ideas and connecting with people who want to make a difference. Whether you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and volunteer, start a new career with us or join forces as a partner or founder patron, we’d love to have you on board.
Because when we come together for young people, the possibilities are endless.

POWERED BY PARTNERSHIP
The Dome Youth Zone is being brought to life through the generous backing of a diverse range of funders, including local and national government bodies, private sector partners, philanthropic donors and other charitable contributions.
Our approach is built so that every pound invested creates real, lasting impact. By joining forces with outstanding organisations across Crewe and the surrounding areas, our mission stays crystal clear: helping young people lead healthy, ambitious and successful lives.
