Michael Verity is an Independent Rural Property Consultant specialising in Landed Estates, advising private clients, trusts, charities and organisations on long-term strategy, governance and financial management. His career spans over 45 years, combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across complex businesses.
Michael was an equity partner at Strutt & Parker, where he built the Chester land management team into the firm’s highest-performing rural team. He later led its national rural land and farm management division, overseeing more than 400 staff and delivering a strategic reset that drove sustained growth. Michael also chaired the creation of the firm’s resources and energy group, supporting the development of a new national team.
Alongside executive roles, he brings extensive non-executive and governance experience. This includes acting as a non-executive adviser and director to landowners and trust companies since 2014, and serving as a founding Non-Executive Director of The Milk Group following market deregulation.
Michael became involved with The Dome because he is passionate about brining transformational opportunities for young people and Crewe and believes that strong governance is key to the success of this venture.
