As a mum of two, daughter and aunt, Donna is passionate about creating access to opportunities, mentors and a safe and nurturing environment to give all young people the best possible start in life, and reach their potential.
As Head of HR for BAE Systems Air, and a coach and mentor, Donna has a breadth of experience in people and culture roles across Retail, Professional Services and the Defence sector. In her early career she worked in Chester and spent time recruiting in Crewe and the surrounding area, and most recently spent 10 years at Grant Thornton as People Director for their Tax business and sponsor for early careers development for apprentices. Donna is an EMCC qualified coach, Senn Delaney culture facilitator, NLP practitioner and accredited as a Hogan profile coach. The Dome is her first trustee role, and she is grateful for the opportunity with her fellow board members and Crewe’s Young People’s Development Group, to shape its direction and turn our vision of a thriving youth zone into a reality in 2026.
Outside of work, Donna volunteers for her PTA (most recently face painting at the Christmas fair!), loves trying to get stronger in the gym and is a fan of yoga and running. Camping and travel is a big family passion, as well as long walks when the Manchester weather permits.
