My role at The Dome is looking after our brilliant patrons and supporters by fostering open, exciting partnerships between ourselves, young people, and local businesses.
For the past few years, I have specialised in fundraising for charities that encourage young people to develop their confidence, engage with education and fulfil their potential, no matter what their background is. Alongside this, I am carrying out my PhD research into how charities represent the communities they support.
I’m excited to be part of The Dome and help provide that opportunity to young people in Crewe, giving them a way to channel that potential into the diverse range of skills and activities a Youth Zone offers. The Dome is for the whole community in Crewe, so it’s fantastic to be able to work in partnership with key businesses and individuals to create a dedicated space for young people that really represents its community.
