Monday night at The Dome
Every Monday between 5pm and 9pm, our partners run their own sessions for their community using The Dome’s facilities. These sessions are primarily closed to the public and focus on being open to members of that particular organisation.
Super 1'S Cricket
Super 1s gives young people aged 12-25 with disabilities the chance to play cricket regularly, through community hubs where they get coaching and compete against their peers. It will have operational sessions at The Dome to help build confidence and independence in young people.
South Cheshire abc
South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club is a registered charity based in Crewe. It provides amateur sport for children, young people and people with disabilities across Cheshire East and Cheshire West & Chester. Its volunteers have supported the young people of Crewe for 11 years and are now operating training sessions from The Dome.
St Michael's troupe
Troupe is a youth activity provider specialising in performing arts and dance. Through the partnership, it brings creative, active sessions to the young people who use The Dome.
The TRUE ATHLETE PROJECT
The True Athlete Project is a nonprofit that aims to build a more compassionate world through sport, working with everyone from school children to Olympic and Paralympic athletes. It combines sport psychology, mentoring, mindfulness and creative expression to develop people through sport, bringing this right to the young people of Crewe at The Dome.
axess sexual health
Axess Sexual Health is bringing friendly, judgement-free conversations about sexual health to The Dome. Alongside the activities young people already love, Axess will be on hand to answer questions, share trusted information and break down the stigma that can make these topics feel awkward or off-limits. No waiting room, just open, honest support in a space where young people feel comfortable to be themselves. This will be available to book in an appointment on a Monday night.
visyon counselling
Visyon is a Cheshire East charity, set up in 1994, that supports the emotional health of children, young people and their families through counselling, mentoring, creative and therapeutic groups and parent support. It offers support through wellbeing groups in Congleton and Crewe. They will be providing optional and confidential advice to any young person who requires it at The Dome.
crewe Alex in the community
Crewe Alexandra in the Community brings the power of local football to The Dome. Using the pull of the town's much-loved club, their qualified community coaches will offer fun, inclusive sport sessions that help young people build confidence, make friends and stay active. Whether they're lifelong Alex fans or brand new to the game, every young person is welcome to get involved.
utopia
Utopia, run by Cheshire East Youth Support Service, is a friendly, welcoming LGBTQ+ youth group offering young people a safe space to be themselves, make friends and get trusted advice and support. Through the partnership with The Dome, Utopia can help make sure every young person in Crewe feels seen, included and like they belong.
