Head of Fundraising and Communications

I’m Head of Fundraising and Communications at The Dome, responsible for developing and driving our income strategy.

I began my career in media and advertising, specialising in client services and ROI-focused campaign evaluation. Alongside my professional role, I became actively involved in staff-led fundraising initiatives and volunteered at a local homeless shelter. These experiences proved pivotal, inspiring a move into the third sector where I could combine my professional skills with a strong desire to give back.

I joined Royal Voluntary Service as Corporate Partnerships Manager, building strategic relationships with businesses to fund vital programmes supporting older and vulnerable people. I then moved into the OnSide Youth Zones network as Senior Philanthropy Manager, leading the Founder Patron campaign to secure essential funding for The Dome.

For me, fundraising is about far more than income generation. It’s about living and breathing The Dome’s values, mission and behaviours; building genuine, lasting relationships; supporting the community we are proud to be part of; and, most importantly, getting to know the young people at the heart of everything we do, creating opportunities that help them thrive.

I truly love my job, and hope that my passion resonates in everything I do.
