I am the youth work manager for community here at The Dome, meaning I lead on all things SEND, family and partnerships.
I have a background in SEND education, previously working as part of the behaviour and mental health team at a local SEMH school. More recently I worked as social prescriber, so I know the value of community to people’s wellbeing and development. I have also completed both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology.
Outside of this, I am also a national champion in karate and judo, with a black belt in ju jitsu and judo.
I wanted to work at The Dome to have the opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives, support the family around them and show them that they are part of the local community, growing up locally I know this is something that is missing. Additionally, I wanted to provide accessible opportunities and allow all young people to feel valued and included.
